Universal tensile strength devices

Our family of devices ZP 5xx (devices for tensile strength tests) consists of three types (ZP 501, ZP 510, ZP 550). These devices are developed and constructed in our own facilities and of course they are used in our own labs since many years.

ZP 501 - Universal Tensile Strength Device
for testing yarns and foils, maximum tensile force 1 kN

ZP 510 - Universal Tensile Strength Device
for testing yarns, foils and fabrics, maximum tensile force 10 kN

ZP 550 - Universal Tensile Strength Device
for testing yarns, foils, fabrics and webbings, maximum tensile force 50 kN

All the devices are designed according to DIN 51221 and belong to accuracy class 0,5 according DIN EN 10002-2 and they are working on the same technology:

Hydropneumatic drive
Maximum stroke/elongation 750 mm
10 fixed elongation rates:
5/10/20/50/100/110/200/250/300/350 mm/min
any other rate is adjustable within the range
Controlling of the elongation rates in closed automatic loop with high accuracy by computer-aided steering
Measuring of elongation by potentiometer displacement gauge
Measuring of tensile force by load cells, interchangeable for different measuring ranges
PC with integrated interface for test control and analysis
Display of tables and diagrams of the measured values on monitor and printer

There are 4 interchangeable modules suitable to the Tensile Strength Devices. At least one module is necessary in order to perform the tests.

CLY 011 - Yarn module
for tests according to DIN EN ISO 2062 "Textiles - Yarn from packages - Determination of single-end breaking force and elongation at break", consisting of:
Load cell system 0...500 N, 1 pair of srew clamps, Software for data recording and analysis
Suitable for ZP 501, 510, 550

CLF 012 - Foil module
for tests according to DIN EN ISO 527 "Plastics - Determination of tensile properties", consisting of:
Load cell system 0...500 N, 1 pair of screw clamps, Software for data recording and analysis

CLF 101 - Fabric module
for tests according to DIN EN ISO 13934-1 "Textiles - Tensile properties of fabric - Part 1: Determination of maximum force and elongation at maximum force using the strip method", consisting of:
Load cell system 0...5 kN, 1 pair of screw clamps, Software for data recording and analysis
Suitable for ZP 510, 550

CLW 501 - Webbing module
for tests according to DIN 61360 / DIN EN 1492-1 "Textile slings, Safety - Part 1: Specification for flat woven slings made of man-made fibres", consisting of:
Load cell system 0...50 kN, 1 pair of cylinder clamps, Software for data recording and analysis
Suitable for ZP 550
